Meet the Team

  • Mailena

    Psychological Testing Assistant/Master’s Level Intern Counselor

    Mailena is a graduate of Thomas College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in mental health and minors in sociology and diversity. She is enrolled at Plymouth State University while she completes her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

    Mailena aspires to provide mental health services to areas with limited access. She also aspires to work with children and adults in processing past trauma and understanding emotions.

    Mailena is currently accepting new clients for individual counseling under the direct supervision of Dr. Michael W. Curless. She charges a low rate of $25.00 per session, which can be paid via cash or check.

  • Heather

    Office Manager

    Heather is a graduate of Mohave Community College with an Associate of Arts in Human Health Services. She is enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University while she completes her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in mental health counseling.

    Heather seeks to serve her community by working with veterans and first responders. She believes that recovery is possible and she aspires to be a part of that process.

  • Sara V.

    Psychological Testing Assistant/Master’s Level Intern Counselor

    Sara is a graduate of Husson University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She is enrolled at Bellevue University while she completes her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

    Sara desires to help individuals in her community to grow into the best versions of themselves. Advocating for those in recovery from substance use is also very important to her. She seeks to work with adolescents, families, and adults who are encountering struggles with addiction and navigating neurodevelopmental disorders.

    Sara V. is currently accepting new clients for individual counseling under the direct supervision of Dr. Michael W. Curless. She charges a low rate of $25.00 per session, which can be paid via cash or check.

  • Sarah K.

    Psychological Testing Assistant

    Sarah is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Holistic Integrative Health. She is enrolled at Husson University while she completes her Master of Science in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  

    Sarah aspires to provide a safe, empathetic, and nurturing counseling environment while working with children and adolescents. She desires to have her own practice where she can work with youth and young adults and be an advocate for children’s rights.

  • Luis

    Psychological Testing Assistant

    Luis is a graduate of the University of California, Merced, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Public Health. He is enrolled at the University of Maine while he completes his Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology.

    Luis aspires to become a clinical psychologist and researcher, focusing on developing culturally informed interventions to address substance use and health disparities in underserved communities.
